My blog has been pretty dead since the end of last year. I really wasn't very happy with what I was posting and want to change what my blog is overly about. I still plan to post about books but reviewing every book that i read with a lot of detail isn't working for me at this time. Between school, work, and everything else it is really hard to post anything at all let alone a big complicated blog post that takes me forever to write. I am so behind on posting reviews about books it is not even funny.
The books from last year I will put on my blog in time but it is not my top priority right now. So far this year I have read about 15 books and while start adding at least miniature reviews and ratings soon. I would rather have something posted on here than nothing at all.
I also want to expand this blog to include things other than the books I have been reading. I also want to include things that are writing based and different topics. i love other things and really want to share them with everyone as well. i originally planned to create a different blog and start anew but I didn't want to change everything so quickly and I could always do that later if i change my mind.
With the blog expressing me in a more broad spectrum posts will be more regular and more thought out and planned. Those who are already with me and those who have recently found my blog I hope you decide to stay with me as I make this journey.

#Friday Reads (11/23/12)
I wrote this up yesterday but forgot to post it yesterday So I will post it today and hope to make this a weekly post.
This week I plan to finish 3 books
The Hobbit
I have to read this book for my English class and I really enjoy it so far and hope to see the movie next month when it comes out.
Second book
How to read a poem
I haven't read any nonfiction in quite sometime so I picked this up as well as the third book on my Friday reads. I like the book but I was expecting a book for people just getting into poetry and this book is defiantly for people who know a little bit about poetry which I do not.
Third book
What's your Story
I picked this book up because of NaNoWriMo I thought a little tips and tricks could really help me this month and I really enjoy this book. I have learned a lot and it is helping me with my story. This book is rather short so it will hopefully be a quick read.
So that is it for my Friday Reads. What do you plan to read this weekend?

Friday Finds (Nov.23 2012)
Hey guys I finally have found the time to post something! Whoa!! NaNoWriMo is going very well so I hope to be posting a little bit more regularly now. To those that celebrate Thanksgiving I hope you had a good holiday.
I thought to welcome myself back I would do a meme that I hadn't participated in yet!
Friday Finds is hosted by Should Be Reading where you showcase books that you have found in the last week in some way or another.
I have been really busy with a book project at school that I haven't got much reading done. This mini break will hopefully be the time for me to turn that around. I have added a few books to my TBR list though and hope to get back into reading soon.

My review
I finished this book about a week ago. Sadly I couldn't find the time to make this review and am just now getting to it. Sorry guys:(
Todd has grown up in a town that is only occupied men and one boy-him as long as he can remember. All woman died out when he was little at least that is what he was told his whole childhood. With a month until his birthday Todd discovers something amazing, a girl. Even more amazing she doesn't have noise at all and is completely silent.
His discovery forces him to flee to a world he never knew existed. He was taught that his town was the only one left after a brutal war with the aliens. Todd embarks on an adventure of self discovery and the mystery of his home town.
When you open up this book the first thing you notice is the language of this book. When I first looked at what the writing was I thought I would not be able to enjoy it because of the way it was written but a few pages into the book and you get every thing they are saying with out any real big issues.
Something I try to avoid is books with a pet in them like a dog. Manchee though was amazing to read about. His loyalty to Todd was amazing plus the fact that he could talk made me a tad bit disappointed in my own dog!
Viola and Todd's relationship (non romantic) is amazing it really does grow and evolve through out the book and is really amazing to watch unfold. One of the major problems I had with this book was Todd which sucks since he is the main character.
Todd was a very stubborn and just plain stupid character at many different points in the story. His pride showed at the randomness time ever and made me want to groan in frustration every time he did something stupid. It wasn't over small things that made me upset it was big things like the fact he can not read but wouldn't let anyone else read the paper he needed to read.
Viola on the other hand was very clever and wise through out the story. When ever Todd did something wrong and made me angry with him Viola always had something to say to him that made me go "Thank You".
The most annoying part of the book though is the reoccurring pop up of a character that seems to pop up at the most random of times. It kinda felt like the author got stuck in his plot so he decided to bring back this character any chance he could get.
Lastly the ending of this book was a huge cliff hanger. It was rather predictable but it was still pretty interesting. I think I would of been more upset about the cliff hanger if I I would of read the book back when it was first published since the next two books are at my library I wasn't really desperate to check out the new book.
I give this book a 3.5/5
Blessed reading,

NaNo button
Hey guys I forget to post this in my last post. This is my NaNo button so you can watch my progress as the month goes on.
If you would like to see another challenge I am participating in check out my 1 million page challenge post.
I will be working on putting the widgets in the sidebar soon but for now you can view them in their rightful posts.
NaNoWriMo starts tomorrow!!!!
NaNoWriMo is right around the corner!! I am so excited this is my first year participating. I am extremely nervous but I think I can do it. I know what I want to use as a idea but didn't over plan it so I am really excited about where it is going to go. Friday I am going on a field trip where the bus ride will take a little over 4 hours so I should be able to get a lot of word count out early so I don't have a lot to worry later on in the competition.
I have watched a lot of videos on tips for the challenge as well as read a lot about it too.If you have any tips or bouts of encouragement please do share. For all those who are participating good luck to you and I hope you have a lot of fun while you write.
Blessed Reading and Writing
